It seems images are being stored here now? I can't view them!!!!! They are blocked at work. Are there any other websites that use this service that I could make a legit case to have it unblocked?

Yes. Depends what you mean by legit. Ratebeer uses it. Road Trippers uses it.

hmm is there a way for my browser to remove the cloudinary bit from the image url? Because when i do that I can view them.

Yes, you should write your own. I'd do it if I had time. I swear there was a bypass CDN script out there at one time.
